Rideshare Program
The UMass Rideshare Program provides an alternative to single occupancy vehicles by assisting UMass employees and off-campus students in forming carpools. The goals of the UMass Rideshare Program are to:
- Reduce commuter traffic on campus.
- Improve the environment and air quality of the region.
- Offer an alternative to full-cost UMass parking permits.
Carpool Matching Service
UMass Rideshare is a carpool assistance program that lists the names of carpoolers who have similar schedules and routes. You can submit your information and find commuters in your neighborhood interested in carpooling. You must login to search for a carpool partner.
How to get a Carpool Permit
If you already have a carpool partner and want to take part in the UMass Rideshare Program, please contact the program coordinator to exchange your current permits for a new Carpool permit. Both participants must fill out the Rideshare registration form or visit Parking Services during business hours.
