Regulation Reminder
Effective Monday, November 2, 2009, Parking Services hours of parking enforcement is returning to Daylight Savings Time. The hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Valid UMASS parking permits are required in all parking lots, with the exception of metered lots. Metered lots are enforced for payment from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
From 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, on weekends and on holidays, vehicles may park in any legal, non-reserved, non-restricted parking space or lots while displaying a valid permit. Reserved and restricted parking spaces or lots always require display of a proper permit. These spaces/lots include handicapped spaces, vendor spaces, state vehicle spaces and 24-hour restricted lots (specifically Lots 21, 22, 29, 36, 39, 44, 46, 47, 49, 50, 54, 64P, 67, North Village Apts. and Lincoln Apts.). Parking is never allowed in a tow zone, fire lane, or access lane.
