Clean Vehicle Permits
Discounted parking permits are available for hybrid, electric, compressed natural gas (cng),
liquefied petroleum gas (lpg), and bi-fuel vehicles.
UMASS is now offering discounted parking permits for “clean”
vehicles (alternative fuel vehicles/hybrids as defined by the U.S. Department of Energy).
This discount is intended to encourage the use of “clean” vehicles and reward
those commuters already doing their part to reduce the environmental impact of the automobile.
This discount is an initial single year discount of 50% off your annual parking permit.
The UMASS Commuter Options Program is designed to meet Massachusetts Department of
Environmental Protection guidelines under the Air Quality Program. Please call or
visit Parking Services to take advantage of this special rate.
